Bottle cap materials mainly include tin plate, chrome plate, aluminum plate, plastic and so on. Caps made of thin sheet metal are usually coated with exterior wall paint and a printed trademark on the outside, and seal the gasket with the corresponding interior paint on the inner surface. Nowadays, most bottle cap linings are made from polyvinyl chloride plastic pads, which have gradually replaced the early corks, cardboard, aluminum foil and rubber rings. Plastic linings are usually made of polyvinyl chloride resins, plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, foaming agents and pigments. The inner wall coating of the PVC lining is used to bond the lining firmly to the inner surface of the lid without falling off. The main formulations are vinyl and acrylic.

Common bottle caps are as follows: ① bottle caps. It was originally made of aluminium, but is now made of tin and chrome plates lined with polyvinyl chloride plastic pads and is used for packaging beer, soft drinks and seasonings. ② Screw caps. Plastic nuts made of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and other resins can be used to pack wine, juice drinks, flavorings and solid drinks in narrow mouth bottles or wide mouth bottles. ③ Unscrew the nut. Also known as anti-theft caps, because of the indentation at the bottom of the cap, it can be unscrewed along the indentation line when opened to show that the cap has been opened. This cap is an improvement on the screw cap, it is made of aluminum sheet, lined with cork, cardboard, aluminum foil, plastic film, etc., mainly used for wine packaging. ④ Unscrew the lid. Also known as four nuts. Manufactured from tin-coated or chrome-plated plates. It features fast sealing, good air tightness and ease of opening. The size of the bottle cap is 27 ~ 77mm, which is suitable for packaging all kinds of food. ⑥ Bite the lid. Also known as grabbing gloves. Made from sheet metal. Designed to seal the mouth of a circular glass bottle. When the cap is pressed into the mouth of the bottle, the pressure from the metal flange around the cap and the wall of the bottle causes the cap to press firmly against the mouth of the bottle, and the lining of the cap also acts as a seal. The diameter of the bottle cap ranges from 28 to 77mm. It can be used in food packaging, such as juice, jam and fruit. ⑦ Side seal. Also called prying the lid off. It's a push-in cover. Made from sheet metal. There is a rubber washer on the inside of the cover for sealing function. Suitable for ring glass bottle or glass. Tools are needed to remove the lid.
